The Nigerian Legion with affiliation to the World Veterans’ Federation and the Royal Common Wealth Ex Services league under the federal ministry of defense has approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammad Aminu Bello as the National Coordinator/Consultant Personal Asset Acquisition Scheme (PAAS). 
PAAS is a new initiative that involves social, economic empowerment programme for self -sustenance by providing basic needs for interested military retirees and is scheduled to be started in August  by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bello is an economist with over 15 years work experience in both public and private sectors of the economy. He is an administrator and business risk analyst.
 Until his appointment, he was the executive chairman, Northcorp Nigeria Limited, a general consulting conglomerate company involves in national economic development.
