The Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) on Tuesday confirmed the successful distribution of President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife’s N10million intervention funds to 200 victims of flood in the state.
The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, had through the wife of the APC presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a few weeks ago, donated the sum of N10 million to flood victims and requested that the money be disbursed to 200 selected beneficiaries within Makurdi Local Government Area.

The SEMA Executive Secretary, Dr Emmanuel Shior, said that based on the instruction, the money was equitably disbursed to 200 beneficiaries selected from the five majorly flood-affected communities in Makurdi.
