Benue drops to 4.7 percent HIV/AIDS prevalence
Kwaghga hailed the support of the Benue State government in the fight against the spread of the scourge, as he explained that the desire of NACA and the world, in general, was to end the spread of HIV-AIDS by 2030.
Benue State has witnessed a sharp decline from 12.9 to 4.7 percent in its Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV/AIDS prevalence rate.
Zonal Coordinator of North Central Zone in the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), Lawrence Kwaghga, made the disclosure on Wednesday when he visited Governor Samuel Ortom in Makurdi.

On his part, Governor Ortom expressed delight over the sharp drop in the prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS in the state even as he reiterated his administration’s support for the agency to achieve set objectives.
