The Benue State Government has extended the distribution of food and non-food relief items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
The Commissioner for Humanitarian and Disaster Management, Kunde Aondowase, and the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sir James Iorpuu, during a joint press conference at the weekend in Makurdi, announced that Governor Hyacinth Alia had allocated a total of 18,714 relief materials for distribution to the IDPs in the state for the month of September.
