The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has stated that the Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology (BEST) will serve as an infrastructure to drive emtreprenurial growth in the country.

President of ACCI, Chief Emeka Obegolu, made the disclosure in abuja recently at the Commissioning of thr Center by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr, Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh.

“The Center marks the realization of a vision to create a hub for Business, Entrepreneurship, Skills development, and Training, and to provide a practical platform where ideas are nurtured, talents are developed, and enterprises are strengthened.

“We recognized the important role the BEST Centre had already been playing in capacity building and skills development. We understood that no economy can grow sustainably without continuous investment in people, their knowledge, their skills, and their ability todnnovate.

The decision to develop this new purpose-built structure was therefore a strategic step to expand the Centre’s capacity, enhance its training environment, and position it as a standard hub for both local and international training.

“The ACCI BEST Centre is designed to serve as a modern training and innovation facility that will deliver practical, industry-driven programmrs for entrepreneurs, MSMEs, professionals, and young people. It will host training in entrepreneurship, digital skills, innovations management, policy dialogue leadeship development and emerging technologies,” he explained

Also speaking while commissioning the building, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr, Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh said the federal government is committed to partnering the private sector in driving growth and development of Nigerian enterpreneurs.
