Bethel Baptist School confirms return of 3 abducted students

The Management of Bethel Baptist Highway School has confirmed the recovery of three more abducted students of the school, Daily Trust reports.
It was gathered that the three male students were recovered on Tuesday along Kakumi forest in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The School Proprietor Reverend Adamu Jangado confirmed the story to Daily Trust on Wednesday via telephone interview.
According to him, the students were not recovered by security agencies but declined to give further details. The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed also confirmed the recovery of the students.
Daily Trust reports that on July 5th, 2021 armed bandits stormed Bethel school located along Kaduna-Kachia highway and abducted 121 students.
A few days ago 28 students were released by the bandits after a ransom payment by their families while some students escaped from their abductors. So far, about 80 of the students are still in captivity.
