When Captain Wada came on board there was great expectation that he will right the wrongs associated with the administration of former Governor Ibrahim Idris. But we are waiting.

Captain Wada should look critically into all the issues raised by the Kogi elders and try to adjust accordingly. He must not see the elders as enemies as many sycophants will want to convince him.

The governor should know that Kogi State is in dire need of leadership to translate its numerous potentials into development.

Right now we have no efficient transport system, our roads are bad. We can’t even boast of a state owned television after twenty one years as a state. The state owned newspaper remained a weekly paper without printing press (the paper has to be taken to Ibadan for production).

Lokoja, being the state capital, has not fared better in terms of infrastructural development. All these are what the elders are asking the governor to pay attention to.
