A group of paparazzi were following Beyonce and her husband Jay Z as they walked to a boat moored in Dubrovnik’s port. They were heading back to their yacht after having dinner at upmarket restaurant Gil’s.

In a video of the incident the Banovic continues to follow the celebrity couple despite being told not to by the bodyguard.He appears to fall to the ground after he is attacked by the minder but gets up and follows the group as they get onto a small boat at the port.

After the bodyguard asks the photographers to leave them alone, a camera tripod is thrown, hitting the bodyguard in the back.

He responds by angrily throwing it into the sea – which is met with a round of applause. Police said they were investigating the incident.

Photographs of Beyonce and Jay Z holidaying on a yacht in the Adriatic sea have been a big hit with the press.
