Bida Emirate Education Forum says it has renovated 24 schools across all the local government areas that make up the emirate.

The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, who disclosed this to Daily Trust during a meeting in Bida, said the affected local government areas are Bida, Lavun, Katcha, Mokwa, Gbako and Edati.

According to him, with the levies contributed by members, the forum has rehabilitated many schools, provided teaching aids including computers and introduced skill acquisition in the six local government areas under his domain.

He said the activities of the forum are sustained by public spirited individuals and sons and daughters of the emirate who are in the civil service, and commended them for sustaining the tempo.
