The registrar and secretary to the governing council of the institution Chief Bisi Adeyemi made this disclosure recently.
He explained that the project comprised drilling of six industrial boreholes with overhead tanks and a generating set for power supply.
He said that when completed, the project will bring to an end the problem of water shortage on campus.
He said that the contractor handling the project has already started work on the site.
The institution has suffered from epileptic water supply within and outside the campus for several years.
