The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr. Abubakar A. Dzukogi, has said the institution will hold its 14th combined convocation after a gap of eight years.
Dr. Dzukogi, who disclosed this during an interview, recently expressed his discontentment with the long delay in holding convocations. Graduands haven’t convoked since 2008.
The rector said the ceremony which was scheduled for Saturday, 2nd April, 2016 will include eight sets of students who graduated within the period. Certificates would be issued to graduates immediately after the event.
A pre-convocation lecture will hold tomorrow.
