A graduating student of the Electrical Engineering Department of Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, Agbara Christian, has fabricated a sealing machine.

 

The automatic temperature control element was designed for sealing nylons and is useful in packaging in the sachet water industry. Christian, in an interview, said the machine will help in overcoming the problem of leakages in sealing density of nylon and overheating of elements. The supervising lecturer for the project, Mr. Onu Christian, said the technology has a combination of both sensor element and programmable micro controller, which senses the surrounding heat temperature within the required set point.
