The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Dr. Abubakar A. DZukogi, said henceforth no convocation ceremony will be delayed.  Dr. Dzukogi who disclosed this in an interview, said the institution would no longer hold combined convocation ceremonies as done in previous years. 
“When I came into office as the Rector, I was uncomfortable that the last convocation was held in 2008. Consequently, I made a solemn determination that even in the face of dwindling resources the convocation is going to be an annual event as long as I remain the Rector. The forthcoming convocation is going to be the last one we are going to merge sessions,” he said.
