The 19-year-old does not have to attend the Valentine’s Day court date, where prosecutors will formally file charges and a plea will be entered.
Bieber was arrested last week in Miami Beach for participating in what police called an illegal street drag race.
The pop star was released from custody after posting bail of N415, 000 ($2,500).
Bieber will have his case seen by Judge William Altfield of the Miami-Dade County Criminal Division on 14 February.
The Canadian singer appeared in court last week via video link and has since been seen on holiday in Panama.
It is claimed the star had been racing a yellow Lamborghini against a red Ferrari in the early hours of Thursday.
R&B singer Khalil Sharieff, the driver of the other car, was also arrested after being reportedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Washington is really waiting for President Obama’s upcoming statement regarding Justin Bieber’s immigration status. The President will be forced to make a statement about whether or not Bieber, who is Canadian, will be deported, after a petition calling on the government to do so reached 100,000 signatures in just six days.
“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture,” reads the petition. “We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing  Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
The petition is hosted on the White House’s We The People citizen portal; it is the policy of the Obama administration to respond to all petitions that reach 100,000 signatures in 30 days. This is not the first unusual petition Obama has been forced to respond to, recently the President released a statement regarding a petition to “cut” Jimmy Kimmel Live.
With petitions like these, the administration typically waits until the weekend to release a response.
