A presidential aspirant on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Ihechukwu Chima, has told the party hierarchy that only good programmes and not big names will win the presidency in the next election.
The party chieftain, who hails from the South East, also contended that bigwigs like Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi and Senator Rochas Okorocha, would not be able to stop him from clinching the party’s ticket.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, Ihechukwu who also formally announced his intention to contest the APC presidential ticket for the next election, noted that it was time to do away with the old brigade who contributed in putting the country where it is today.
