The immediate past governor of Adamawa State and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow, has said winning the party ticket is more difficult than defeating the incumbent governor.
Bindow served one term, between 2015 and 2019, before he was ousted by Ahmadu Fintiri of the PDP at the 2019 general elections.

Speaking to journalists, yesterday, shortly after formally declaring his intention to contest governorship, Bindow said he had a comprehensive infrastructure plan for his aspired second term.
He however noted that he was currently focusing on winning the APC ticket which, he said, seemed tougher than the general election in view of the calibre of politicians gunning for it.
