Speaking at the foundation laying ceremony recently in the school, Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Felix Anjorin said the state  governor Tanko Al-Makura has donated N30 million for the commencement of the project.
According to him, “The ICT centre project is estimated to accommodate 500 students at a seating when completed. Due to the paucity of funds, the project will be segmented into two phases, with the first phase which we are now commencing expected to seat 200 students.”
On his part, Head of Department Computer Science Department, Dr. Peter Ogedembe said the first phase of the project would gulp N28 million which would be before September 23 when the new academic session begins.
