The Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Justice Ishaq Usman Bello, has approved the appointment of Mrs Binta Muhammed as the acting secretary of the FCT Judiciary Service Commission.
This followed the commencement of pre-retirement leave of Malam Aliyu Kusherki, who was the commission’s scribe.
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Mrs Muhammed was before her appointment a chief magistrate I.
Born on February 15, 1962, in Zaria, Mrs Muhammed had her primary and secondary education between 1968 and 1981 at St. Annes Primary School and Queen Amina College, Kakuri, Kaduna, respectively.
She did her one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and went to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, graduating in 1991.
