The former Heartland skipper, who is one of the highest paid players in the Nigeria Premier League, informed MTNFootball.com he is fed up with the domestic league and wishes to move abroad.

“I have given a lot to the home front and I really want to go abroad,” he said.

On his possible destination, Thankgod said: “I have a lot of offers from both Africa and Asia but I am yet to decide on any of them.

“But I would let you know where I would be heading days before the end of the season. Right now I have a running contract with Warri Wolves and you know how our clubs in this country are; so I want to keep my possible move to my chest.”

Thankgod revealed that he has overcome the disappointment of being shunned by Eagles coach Stephen Keshi.

“I was first bitter and worried. The non-invitation weighed me down and I kept asking myself what I was not doing right. But right now, I have overcome that. But I am still hopeful that the Eagles coach will soon consider me.”
