An Ikeja magistrates’ court, Lagos, on Wednesday, ordered the remand of a 40-year-old businessman, Opeyemi Olanrewaju, in the Kirikiri Correction Centre for allegedly defiling his two daughters.
The Magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi, who did not take the plea of the defendant adjourned the case to June 26, while waiting for advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

Earlier, the prosecutor, ASP Raji Akeem, told the court that in September, 2021, and May, 2024, the defendant’s wife caught him sexually molesting their seven-year-old daughter and assaulting their five-year-old daughter respectively contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
