Barely two months after this incidence a similar attack took place at Jangebe village of Gusau local government, where four police officers and two children were brutally killed by unknown gunmen suspected to be armed robbers. Indeed, from January 2012 to October 2013, several barbaric attacks were carried out by the bandits, conspicuous among them being in Kizara and Shamushalle. More than ten peoples were reportedly shot and burnt to ashes by the hoodlums. The former was the most shocking and devastating incidence where an awful tragedy that produced hundreds of widows and orphans. The attack which was believed to be a reprisal consumed over sixty lives including those of imam and head of the village. sequel to this unfortunate events, thousands of Fulani were reported to have flee the state to neighbouring states
Ironically, despite the increasing attacks and losses of lives and property and the impact of this on the economic development of the state, instead of finding the solution of the problems, politicians in the state exploit the situation to gain popularity. At a political rally organized by supporters of a former PDP governor of the state, the present administration, which is APC, was accused of failure to tackle the problem of the ex-governor.  This development has resulted in an attack on the convoy of the acting governor by angry youth agitating for compensation to families of three Fulani youths killed by vigilante group in Birnin Maga.   In response to the government accused PDP supporters of fabricating lies to soil its name.  
It is obvious that these political back and forth and allegations and counter allegations would not solve the problem, rather it would give the perpetrators room to continue their barbaric attacks.  
The political dimension of this problem should be addressed for this mayhem to stop.
