An explosion has hit a bus carrying presidential guards in Tunisia’s capital, Tunis, state TV reports.
At least 11 people have been killed in the blast, the interior ministry said.
The explosion took place during rush hour in a main avenue. The cause of the blast is not immediately clear.
Tunisia has been targeted by the Islamic State group, including an attack by a gunman on the beach resort of Sousse in June, killing 39 people, mostly foreign tourists.
The explosion happened when the bus was either outside or near the former headquarters of the party of deposed President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
