Popular blogger, Beingreal George has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and EeZee Conceptz record label boss, Ezekiel ThankGod, as he points to allege intentional acts.
Shedding light on the alleged contractual disputes, Gorge, who has produced series of videos on the matter said there were strategic delays by the record label and inconsistent accounts.
Speaking in a broadcast, George dismissed claims that a crucial meeting between Chinwo and her label took place in 2024, clarifying that it actually occurred in 2023.
He suggested that there were deliberate efforts to misrepresent the timeline, describing the actions of the label as “very intentional, very demure.”
He further alleged that Mercy Chinwo faced obstacles in recording her last album, claiming that her record label attempted to delay the project to extend her contract.
He also accused the label of preventing her from attending ministerial engagements, implying that the moves were calculated to create conflicts and exert control over her career.
The controversy has sparked widespread debate among gospel music fans and industry insiders, with many speculating about the nature of Mercy Chinwo’s relationship with her former record label.
At the time of this report, neither Chinwo nor the label has issued an official response to the allegations.
