Addressing the beneficiaries while flagging-off the disbursement of the loan, Hussaini Abdullahi said beneficiaries of 1st batch of the loan would cut across all cassava farmers from the 21 local government areas of the state.
“The state chapter of the NCGA has also concluded arrangement to collaborate with Enterprise Bank for medium and large scale cassava growers to secure loan facilities to support their farming activities in the state.
“This is the first in the country and will go a long way in boosting cassava production in Kebbi state as well as attempt to meet up with the national cassava output requirement valued at over fifty billion US Dollars,” he said.
