The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is set to reaccredited 12 programmes at the Niger State Polytechnic Zungeru, the institution’s Rector, Dr Umar Ahmed Egbako, has disclosed.

In an interview with Daily Trust in Minna, the rector also said other programmes are lined up for verification and resource inspection by the board.

He said among the programmes slated for reaccreditation at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level include Science and Laboratory Technology (SLT) in Biology/Microbiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry/Microbiology, Physics with Electronics and that of Statistics.

Others are National Diploma (ND) in Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, Estate Management and Valuation, Quantity Surveying, Banking and Finance, Local Government and Development Studies.
