Body of lies (ii)

A few days later in Washington, in response to Hoffman’s expression of frustration about little progress in the Al Salim case, despite infiltrating every ‘Salafi’ mosque in the world, Ferris suggested that the only way to smoke out Al Salim, is to create another terrorist group, which will seem to be upstaging Al Salim’s faction of Al Qaeda.  They chose at random, an innocent Muslim from Jordan named Omar Sadiki, who was just a successful architect.  All that mattered was that the name will resemble that of a terrorist.  Sadiki was invited to come and sign a contract in Dubai, for a new building project.  On arrival, they introduced him to a lawyer, who was a low-level Al Qaeda financier, and took pictures of them shaking hands, with a super camera from a distance.  With those photos, there was no way Sadiki could prove he wasn’t Al Qaeda.  The picture was circulated among intelligence agencies all over the world.  Innocent Sadiki was dead meat.

While Sadiki was out, Ferris slips into his room at Jumeira Hotels, Dubai and cracks open the architect’s email box.  He cloned Sadiki’s email and used it to send out incriminating messages and paid small amounts of monies from ‘Al Qaeda’ operatives all over the world into Sadiki’s account.  The CIA operatives in the USA, also browsed online and discovered an innocent Muslim study group at Sadiki’s local mosque named ‘Brothers of Awareness’.  The operatives told Ferris; ‘This is just an innocent organisation but I can make them look like anything’.  Ferris replied ‘Make them look like EVERYTHING’.  They then positioned Brothers of Awareness as the new Al Qaeda link that is aiming to take over from Al Salim.  This could as well have been NASFAT or ISBON in Nigeria.  Na wa o.

Now the shocking part.  The CIA stages a bombing of a US building at Incirlik, Turkey, and planted bodies that they collected from a local morgue, as casualties in that bombing.  They then sent a statement purportedly from Sadiki, claiming responsibility for the bombing.  They channelled all replies to go to Sadiki’s real email address.  You can imagine the shock on Sadiki’s face, the day he discovered that he was a ‘leader’ of an Al Qaeda agency.  His life went downhill.  Al Salim’s men captured him, just as the CIA wanted, releasing him under close watch after he narrated the encounter with ‘The American’.  At this stage in the movie, I asked myself, just how many of the ‘roadside bombings’, and ‘suicide bombings’ carried out in many a Middle-Eastern country or in Afghanistan, had been staged in this manner.

As planned, the Turkish bombing made Al-Salim seek out Omar Sadiki, who was later killed by the CIA once they got close to Al-Salim.  Ferris was saved by Jordanian secret service men, whom it was repeatedly mentioned was on the payroll of USA.

After seeing this movie I was sure that the CIA must have known what Farouk was up to, and it could be they who compromised his explosives, preventing them from exploding as planned.  In fact, Farouk could have been dealing with CIA all the while.  Let no one deceive themselves, we live in a big brother society.  I feel I am being watched as I write this self.  Please USA, don’t bomb me, bomb Ridley Scott, Dicaprio, Russell Crowe and David Ignatius instead for acting out your subterranean roles so believably!!  I am just an innocent citizen analysing information relevant to my poor little country, drawing parallels between fiction and reality, which are not so different anyway.  They say life imitates art, and vice versa. Nigerians, I beg, look out for me…

Why would the US intelligentsia want to embarrass Nigeria with this incidence?  Perhaps to fulfil their prediction that Nigeria as a country will break up by 2015.  But as I have espoused in my other writings, we need to keep this country together no matter what.  It is not necessarily for our benefit, but for the benefit of every black person the world over.  We need to disprove that hypothesis being bandied by white extremists, that black people are unable to govern themselves.  Whatever we can do to get our acts right and stay together, we must.  Already, some Nigerians who live in the USA are foolishly asking for bombs to pour over northern Nigeria.  American arms dealers are rubbing their hands together and smacking their lips in anticipation of major sales.

And though President Barack Obama may be a captive amongst extreme capitalist elements, I believe he will do anything possible to stop the agenda of classifying Nigeria among rogue nations, in a world where nothing happens without ulterior motives.  I repeat again, that we as a people should come together, and ignore USA and its self-inflicted problems with the Middle-East.  We must never be dragged into the fray.  The only viable example to follow is that of China.  Chinese people are not bombing or disturbing anybody.  They are working, and producing, and forging ahead, no matter what any biased media people choose to sell.  We should get them solidly on our side.  I don’t work for them, but this is our only option, so that they can warn any crazy country to back off from Nigeria.

In 2006, while I was a postgraduate student at London Metropolitan University, the British-Pakistani president of the Muslim association of that school was one of about 16 boys arrested for planning to bomb ten planes flying to the USA from London.  Young intelligent students abroad have access to all the information and knowledge about past heinous crimes of the USA and other western countries and are so angry, they become suicidal.  Also, just how different is Farouk, from those American teenagers who grab their fathers’ guns and mow down dozens of innocent schoolmates as was the case in Columbine, Virginia Tech and so on?  But our rich men have not stopped sending their children to western schools.  I think the Nigerian government should mount a robust defence of Farouk, marshalling all arguments and considering the powerful influence of USA intelligentsia.

Readers should refer back to my theory on Yar’adua’s health.  Things don’t happen ordinarily these days.  VP Goodluck has stopped eating in the Villa.  I think the USA is realising that it will lose Nigeria anyway, so it is being nihilistic.  Anyhow, I see an opportunity for Nigerians to spend more of their monies at home, and for us to focus on our own problems.  Since the West has decided to kill a fly with a sledge hammer, profiling Nigeria as terrorist country because of one incident, I believe God has a plan for this country, for those who believe in Him. Our emancipation does not depend on how well we impress the West.  Nigeria UNITE!
