A new video released by the Boko Haram today shows how over 100 captives were summarily executed in Bama town of Borno State.
Unlike in the past videos where leader of the group, Abubakar Shehu normally speaks, the footage shows a man leading four others in the execution of the over 100 captives.
The deceased were forced to lie in a dormitory of a secondary school in Bama.
The man said henceforth, all the people living under “apostasy” (not living under their type of authority) would be killed , heightening fears that several thousands of people, who could not flee from many towns and villages the sect captures might likely be killed.
The Boko Haram sect is in control of about 15 out of the 27 local government areas of Borno State.
Bama was taken over by the sect on 1st September, 2014.
