Extremist group, Jama’atu AhliSunnah Lidda’awati Waljahad, popularly known as Boko Haram has threatened to scuttle Nigeria’s general election slated for next month.
In a new video shared via twitter Tuesday, the goup’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, said ” this election of democracy will not be conducted even if we are dead.”
Shekau also claimed responsibility for the attack on Gombe in which, he said, his group chased away soldiers and freed its detained members.
In the 11 minutes, 57 seconds video, Shekau, sitting in front of a black background with two rifles, also threatened leaders of Chad and Niger Republic.
