Boko Haram: Yola Division Court of Appeal relocates to Abuja

This is coming on the heels of the deadly and constant attacks by the dreaded Boko Haram in the North East.
The Yola Division relocated from Justice Buba Ardo Road, Jimeta Yola, Adamawa State to Abuja penultimate Monday and has started sitting inside a court room at the Abuja Division of the court.
Four justices of the Yola Division of the Court of Appeal have equally relocated to Abuja as well as the Court registrars and other support staffs.
The four Justices are Jimi Olukayode Bada, the Presiding Judge (PJ), Jumai Hanatu Sankey, Georgewill Biobelle and Justice Hassan.
As at the time of filling in this report, the court business has commenced fully. Most of the lawyers who appear before the Court informed Daily Trust that they had to travel down to Abuja from other states.
They added that since some of their clients are indigent, not all clients can afford to provide money for their lawyers to travel to Abuja to handle their cases.
