They wear religious garments, speak in religious language, but are the farthest away from it, thus the prophetic saying “There will come a time when a group of people will leave our ranks.
They will recite the Quran with fervour and passion but its spirit will not go beyond their throats. They will leave our ranks (Islam) in the manner of an arrow when it shoots from its bow.” Imam Isah Ali Pantami, in his debate with Muhammad Yusuf, has proven beyond reasonable doubt how fallacious their (BH’s) contentions were. Sheikh Jafar and Sheikh Albani also left no chance in exposing their whimsical crusade of misguidance.
Boko Haram has since been intellectually defeated; they never had any intellectually and theologically valid contention to begin with. It was a simple case of intellectual laziness and superficiality borne out of self-righteous, saviour-complex.
