Bolt Accelerator Program’s Top 10 Winners to Participate in Founders Factory Africa Launch

Bolt, Africa’s leading ride-hailing platform, has announced that the top 10 winners of its Bolt Accelerator Program – an initiative to empower its driver community to redefine their roles as entrepreneurs and amplify economic growth prospects across Nigeria, will participate in the inaugural launch of Founders Factory Africa Academy in Nigeria. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing opportunities for startups to scale and succeed.

Founders Factory Africa, renowned for its comprehensive support system for African startups, is expanding its footprint to Nigeria for the first time. This expansion aims to harness the country’s vibrant entrepreneurial spirit and foster innovation across various sectors. The partnership with Bolt Accelerator Programme underscores a shared commitment to contribute towards the development of Nigeria’s economic growth.

The top 10 winners of the Bolt Accelerator Programme alongside the other 10 finalists have been selected based on their innovative solutions, market potential, and readiness to scale. Each one of them will have the opportunity to compete for the $5,000 business grant.

Speaking on the progress of the top 10 winners, Bolt’s Acting Head of Regulatory & Policy Africa, Weyinmi Aghadiuno said “We are incredibly proud of our Bolt Accelerator Program’s top 10 winners and excited about their participation in the Founders Factory Africa launch. This opportunity will provide them with the necessary resources and support to scale their innovations and make a significant impact in Nigeria. The Bolt Accelerator Program was launched in Nigeria in September 2023 with the aim to empower Bolt drivers beyond ride-hailing services and fostering entrepreneurial roles and economic growth prospects across Nigeria, offering a €25,000 seed fund to the top 10 winners.
