I wish to felicitate with Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi the senator elected for Yobe south senatorial district and to humbly advise him to hit the ground running in view of the numerous problems in his constituency just like they exist in other parts of the state. These include inadequate basic facilities and lack of infrastructures needed for any meaningful development.

Apart from carrying out his legislative assignments at the National Assembly, Bomoi is expected to among others put heads together with officials and people in his constituency as well as the state government to find solutions to the fundamental issues responsible for youth restiveness, insecurity, and how to create an enabling environment for job creation for thousands of youths in his area.

Bomoi is also expected to give a helping hand in the area of education, health, and security related issues due to the activities of the dangerous Boko Haram elements which have greatly affected the areas socio-economic and political development for more than ten years now. It is important for him to also assist towards finding reasonable work for the youth especially in the area of agriculture and petty trading for women and other categories of traders all over his constituency.

Senator Bomoi is expected to do these and many other things for his people because it is precisely because they believe that he can help them in these areas, that is why they elected him to represent them at the National Assembly because of his quality of character and his love for the whole area. His people are aware of his efforts even before he went for the election and when he was at the FCTA in Abuja.

Bomoi, who is an example in team leadership, is a committed and dedicated technocrat always eager to do his best in whatever situation he finds himself. An unassuming and quiet leader who believes in working silently is also a courageous individual always eager to help his people. His commitment and dedication to duty is un-questionable. He has been described as a person who is always happy when lending a helping hand to his people.

It is a known fact that the people believe he is an asset to them and that he will use his vast experience to promote their interest since he is always ready to assist them. He should therefore, justify the confidence they have in him by trying to among others introduce projects that will help many-out-of the school children and the young school leavers found all over the area. Despite the appeal against his election, his people believe that Bomoi is the leader that can help the area to move forward.
