BORNO: Buhari campaign coordinator seeks true reconciliation

The North-East Zonal Coordinator of the Buhari Support Group, Ibrahim Abba El-Zubair, has pleaded with the party’s leadership at all levels to wade into the raging problems within the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesting in its performance at governorship elections.

He told Daily Trust Saturday the intervention should be done to save the party from crumbling before 2023.

The coordinator said the party is grappling with internal problems in Borno, Bauchi, Kano, Benue, Adamawa, Imo, Ogun and Oyo states.

Citing the absence of internal democracy as the main problem the party was grappling with in some of the states El-Zubair noted that internal democracy is key to the sustenance and development of any political party.

“For true reconciliation to be achieved, all party members constituting the problems should not play any part in the reconciliation process,” he said.
