The commissioner pointed out that the donation was to help enhance teaching and learning in the school, adding that the administration of Governor Ali Modu Sheriff was giving priority to the education sector, urging all and sundry to support him to discharge his responsibilities for the upliftment of the state.

Bashir said the state would continue to give priority to the renovation of schools and the provision of working materials to boost education at all levels.

The principal of the school, Malam Shetimma Bello, thanked the commissioner for the donation. He, however, said the school lacked furniture and other relevant books and appealed to the government and the association to assist in this regard

The state’s Deputy Governor, Alhaji Shettima Yuguda Bidal, who is also a member of the old student association, presented the donation on behalf of the donor.
