The Chief Whip of the Senate and Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno, has officially launched the construction of the Dikwa–Marte Road project in Borno North Senatorial District.

The project, which aims to enhance access to essential services and stimulate economic activities in the region, is a direct response to the pressing infrastructural needs of the area.

He emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to the contract terms and specifications, noting that the project is part of a broader effort to support Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s infrastructure development initiatives across the state.
