The governor also said that his government would hormonize Tsangaya institutions scattered in all the 27 local government areas, saying it would enable children who are not opportune to attend formal education to attend Tsangaya School closest to where they are living.

He stated that fencing and development of public cemeteries in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC) and Jere would also be given the attention it deserves in the 2010 fiscal year. The sum of N1.2 billion was budgeted to Ministry Of Religious Affairs and Special Education to enable it carry out all the projects in 2010, the governor said.
