Bowen University has deployed over N5 million interactive electronic boards from its information technology partner, New Horizons Limited for smart and technology- driven learning.
Reverend Dr. Supo Ayokunle, president of the Nigerian Baptist Convention supported by Convention Chairman, Reverend Dr. Kehinde Olumide and the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mathews, received the gifts on behalf  of the university at an event which coincided with the hosting of the executive committee meeting of the Nigerian Baptist Convention on Bowen University campus.
The president who thanked New Horizons MD/CEO, Mr. Tim Akano and his team for the high-end equipment said the facilities will further ease and improve the process of learning by Bowen students.
Responding, Mr Akano charged parents and various education stakeholders in Nigeria to ensure that their wards take advantage of the opportunity offered by International IT Skills and Certifications to be able to compete at the local and global level without any form of inferiority complex.
