A police officer attached to Faskari divisional office in Katsina State has had his manhood cut off allegedly by a 13-year-old boy (names withheld) he attempted to sodomise. 

The police officer, identified as Inspector Lawal Mohammed, was said to have been left in a pool of his own blood before an unknown bike man took him to a nearby health facility.

Sources said the incident happened about 9.30pm on Monday around Tudun Markabu area of the town.

It was gathered that for long, the policeman had been luring innocent boys whom he sodomised. 

He was transferred from Malumfashi division to Faskari over such acts, the source said.

“One of the boys got tired of the abuse and arranged with two others and they used a knife and cut off his manhood.

“He was rushed to Faskari primary health center. I learnt he’s presently referred to either ABU Teaching Hospital or the Police Clinic in Katsina,” the source claimed. 

When contacted the command’s spokesman, SP Gambo Isa confirmed the incidence and said an investigation has commence. “If found guilty, the officer would be charged to court,” he added.
