He made this declaration during a media interaction session held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere on Friday. Nizzo said they were in the country to exhibit and do what they know how to do best.
The coach remarked that the era of underrating any team in world soccer event like this is over and expressed confidence that Brazil would approach every match accordingly and do their best to emerge victorious.
“Gone are the days whereby one could be sure of having an easy ride over others. The situation is now different. There are no more minnows in the game of football. All teams have equal chances of winning its matches. Having qualified from their respective continents to this stage, it is a big challenge for other teams,” he said.
“On our part, we have made plans and strategies to approach all matches with caution and every bit of seriousness as we are in Nigeria to win and lift the trophy at the end of the championship next month. For now we will play carefully,” he opined.
