Adamawa State Governor, Bala James Ngillari has confirmed the recapture of Mubi town by local hunters on Thursday.

Boko Haram insurgents took over and occupied Mubi in Adamawa state, which is the second largest town in the state almost two weeks.
Speaking during an inspection tour of relief materials provided by the federal government for the displaced persons in Yola, Ngillari said: “the insurgents have been flushed out of Mubi and are on the run”‎.
