President Goodluck Jonathan has summoned an emergency meeting over the outbreak of Ebola disease in the country.

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, said this in his twitter handle this afternoon.

The meeting being held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, is being attended by Ministers of Health, Aviation, Interior, Foreign Affairs, among other top government officials.

The outbreak of the Ebola virus has also made the president to cancel his planned trip to Owerri, Imo State.
