A helicopter suspected to be conveying arms and ammunition has crashed in Yola, capital of Adamawa state.

The aircraft went down few meters away from the main camp of the Internally Displaced persons (IDPs) in Damare near Yola.

Eye witnesses told Daily Trust that two of the four people on board sustained fractures to their legs while the other two escaped unhurt.
