At least three people, a nephew of Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state, Ahmadu Ali, and two policemen, have lost their lives in an accident involving the governor’s convoy.

The names of the policemen who died were given as Nura Safiyanu and Kabir Ali.

Confirming the incident, the Director-General (New Meadia) to the governor, Al-Amin Isa, said the accident happened at a village called Gadar Tsuntsaye near Jikamshi in Musawa Local Government Area.

Isah said three other people who sustained injuries during the accident were receiving treatment at Malumfashi General Hospital.
