The Managing Director/CEO Hyra Motors Mr Oluwaseyi Oyinlola said Brilliance FSV comes with a combination of power, safety and comfort all wrapped up in the beaming contemporary design; with a powerful 1.5 litre engine with automatic transmission.
Employing Japanese technologies, he said the Brilliance Auto has successfully developed a new generation of the 1.5L engines with much technical advancement; one of which is the CVVT technology with 16V DOHC, producing a 102hp with relatively low fuel consumption.
The FSV is built in accordance with C-NCAP four-star collision standards with Armour type energy absorbing cabin & a High Intensity chassis designed by Lotus, he said.
It also offers the interior comfort that far exceeds the norm, he noted, adding that the ergonomics of the driver area and high quality of the whole interior are exemplary in terms of design as well as finishing. The choice of materials and the workmanship fulfil the highest expectations.
Oyinlola said the coming of the car is due to the success of its predecessor, Brilliance FRV, which was unveiled in Nigeria last year.
The vehicle, according to him, is available in manual and automatic transmissions, adding that the FRV sedan is the first sedan that Brilliance has made from its new A-Class platform.
Unveiled at the Shanghai auto show, the FSV sedan attracted the crowd not only because of its beautiful design, but more because of its show on the dazzling array of high-end configuration parameters.
Its other features are auto-beam lights, intelligent sensing boneless wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system, eight-way power heated seats, 6.5 wide touch screen, DVD, GPS navigation, visual parking assistance system, keyless entry and start system are car hands-free, and more.
The Brilliance FSV offers other useful features such as German MK70 ABS plus EBD system, dual front & side airbags (total four airbags), front preload and force limiters, heated leather seats, three-point seat belts with pretensioners, high mounted brake lights, reversing radar, engine shield, disc brakes, aluminium alloy wheels, sunroof, electrically adjustable mirrors, no bone intelligent wipers, 6.5 wide touch screen, leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel with audio controls and GPS navigation system.
