Sir, please permit me to appeal to the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufa’i to partner with big super malls in Nigeria like Shoprite, Grand Square, Next, Cash4u, Sahad Stores to open businesses in Kaduna. This will generate more revenue for the state. please note, many residences in Kaduna have to take four hours to and from to shop in the above mentioned stores in Abuja or Kano. I remember in an interview with Weekly Trust few years ago, the late Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Gidado Idris, said at that time, the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello also used to patronise Kaduna’s super stores of the 60s\70s, namely, Chellerams, Kingsway, Bhojsons, Leventis, and UTC.
