According to the Los Angeles Times, Canadian police are using helicopters and police dogs to search for Jenkins, 32, who is believed to have slipped into Canada on Wednesday after allegedly killing and mutilating his wife and stuffing her body into a garbage bin in Buena Park, California.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jenkins, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, and who prosecutors in Orange County have charged with murder in the case.

According to authorities, in an attempt to slow down the identification of Fiore’s body, Jenkins allegedly removed her teeth and fingers before putting her naked, beaten body into a suitcase that was found in a trash bin over the weekend. The preliminary coroner’s report indicated that Fiore, 28, had been strangled.

The couple got married in Las Vegas earlier this year, after Jenkins finished a stint on the VH1 reality show “Megan Wants a Millionaire” in March, but they had reportedly been fighting in recent months. Fiore reportedly had the marriage annulled following a series of arguments over his jealously of her ex-boyfriends. Court records indicate that Jenkins was charged in June in Nevada with a misdemeanor count of “battery constituting domestic violence” for allegedly hitting Fiore on the arm.

Prosecutors said the on-again-off-again couple checked into a hotel in San Diego last Thursday (August 13), and Jenkins checked out the next morning. Fiore was never seen alive again. Jenkins reported Fiore missing on Saturday (August 15), and then prosecutors say he fled California, with his whereabouts unknown until Wednesday, when his black BMW was found with a boat trailer attached in a marina in Blaine, Washington. Prosecutors believe he used a speedboat to cross from the U.S. into Canada, where he has family.
