President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has been accredited for the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections in Daura, Katsina state.
Buhari was accredited around 8:15am in his polling unit at Sarkin Yara A, Kofar Baru III in Daura.
The president-elect, who was accompanied by his wife Hajiya Aisha Buhari, was accredited by the INEC official using the card reader in about three minutes.
Unlike the presidential polls held two weeks ago, the turn out today looks low.
Buhari was escorted by heavy security. All telecom frequencies were jammed when he arrived for the accreditation.
Speaking shortly after his accreditation, Buhari said he was impressed with INEC preparations, saying that he hoped there will be general improvement from the last poll held a fortnight ago.
