The APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari has done his accreditation at his polling unit in Sarkin Yara A, Kofar Baru III (003) in Daura local government, Katsina state.
Buhari arrived the polling unit in two SUV vehicles escorted by a military truck around 8:38am.
He went to the INEC official and produced his PVC before he was accredited by the card reader around 8:41am.
Thereafter, Buhari who was accompanied by his wife Aisha moved to the next point where he confirmed his name at the voters register around 8:44am.
The APC flag bearer briefly spoke to journalists, saying he was satisfied with the preparations by INEC for the elections.
He left the polling unit and went back to his house around 8:47am.
The polling unit presiding officer Abbas S. Muhammed said voting may likely start around 1pm after the accreditation.
Buhari would come back to the polling unit to cast his vote when voting started.
The Sarkin Yara A polling unit has 744 registered voters and accreditation has started around 8:30am.
