A chieftain of the APC in Ekiti State, Engineer Kayode Ojo yesterday cautioned those calling for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari on the grounds of ill health to do so with human face and avoid denigrating a president for falling sick while in office.
Ojo, who described those calling for the resignation as their constitutional rights, however cautioned that the President could not resign on because of sickness.
The governorship aspirant was reacting to the two-day protest by civil society groups in Abuja, where they demanded that Buhari should either return from his treatment abroad or resign having spent over 90 days in a London hospital for an undisclosed ailment.
He urged the citizens to support restructuring that would bring positive changes and not those that will cause cleavage in terms of ethnic and religious compositions.
