President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he won’t comment on the result of Saturday’s elections being rumoured until when INEC releases the final result.
Speaking when he landed at the Presidential wing of the Nnamadi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja from Katsina state on Monday, Buhari said: “I don’t want to depend on rumours, but we will rather wait for INEC to announce the results”
On his message to Nigerians, he said, “Well l hope that Nigerians will appreciate that it is this government that made sure that they were able to cast their votes in a secured and peaceful environment for whichever party and candidates they wanted.
Recall that the president arrived Katsina state on Friday to cast his vote for the Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections.
